Hello,
I've been working on an electrical assignment as part of my training, I have completed most of it but I seem to be falling down on a more simple part of the assignment on the basis of terminology and further explanation, I have found it a little difficult to source the information I need, so if anyone is able and willing to assist me I would greatly appreciate it.
Question:
what is meant by each of the following terms relating to the Consumer’s Control Unit (CCU) located in the garage.
a) Modules.
(What I wrote)
Modules are a device that is part of the system of the CCU, such as an RCD or an RCBO, in a 7 way board there is enough for 5 ways as the main switch usually takes up two ways.
(Teacher says my terminology is not acceptable in this answer, I believe teacher is mostly referring to the second half, tips to improve wording?)
c) Split load.
A number of circuits within a board that are protected by separate RCDs or MCBs on separate circuits.
(Teacher reply "From this explanation are not all board split load boards?" any suggestions on how to better explain?)
Much appreciated if anyone is willing to help me see my errors.
Many thanks.
