Picked up an email yesterday from a potential new customer asking f I was interested in carry out some work. . . . nothing new, get these requests all the time. I emailed back saying . . . sure let me have the details.

Got email back with a link to some drawings (mmmm... I think !) I hit the link and up pops my anti virus notification saying infected . Fortunately I keep my anti virus up to date.

Couple of things . . . . . have you guys out there received anything similar, and here is a good reason to spend the money on some good security on your PC's.

I didn’t know what to have for tea but you’ve made the spammy phish sound so appetising!
Thanks for the general heads up on the scam.

Yeah I had one last week..I never opened it as the spelling was shocking, wording was very odd and their name was Jessica aniton

Yes, I had one of them, details stored on a cloud or something. Luckily AVG spotted it when I tried to open it.
It looked quite convincing, spelling was OK, from a Mr Ibrahim I think, enquiring about my availability for a project and said he got my details from ELECSA.
Another a week later from a different person saying he got my details from NICEIC, I deleted that one.
