A maintenance technician is required to work for the worlds largest commercial real estate services and investment firm, with a multi-billion-pound turnover and more than 75,000 employees. The role is working for the world’s largest internet retailer at one of their distribution centres and offices.
Purpose of Job
The maintenance technician is electrically biased and responsible for carrying out routine maintenance and repairs to onsite electrical services (lighting, power, emergency lighting, boiler control panels and electrical services on AHU’s) and also general building fabric maintenance & PPM’s.
Key Responsibilities
·PPM and reactive maintenance throughout the site. Update and maintain site log books with details of any PPM tasks completed reporting any tasks that could not be completed or require additional works.
·Identify any defects and carry out remedial works.
·Tasks will include electrical maintenance, mechanical maintenance, plumbing, repairs and modifications, carpentry, painting and other building maintenance tasks.
·To undertake small installations.
·To ensure compliance of all electrical installations within site.
·Ensure that engineering subcontractors are appropriately supervised, and comply with contractual commitments, and site operating processes
·A Health and Safety management system operates on site. It is mandatory that all staff comply with all health and safety instructions.
The Person
A fully qualified commercial electrician who is professional, thorough and safety conscious. You will have a strong maintenance background.

Salary £31,000
25 Days Holiday Plus stats
Hours – 4 week rolling shift pattern
Week 1&2 Days 8am – 5pm Mon – Fri
Week 3 - Nights 6pm – 6am – Mon-Fri
Week 4 Days 8am – 5pm Tues-Fri
