I retired last year from sparkying, then realised I had bills to pay. So got myself a proper job :(

I’ve got some insulated fan ducting, several used drums of tw&e, huge box of assorted white faceplates, a box of MK mcb’s and a wade of intumescent padding? Van was sold to ‘We Buy Any Van’, good deal I had.

Garage is still full of junk, not as much as spinlondon’s mind (worried about him). Even the charity shops are picky these days.

Good luck @Vortigern, I’d go this year if I was you. Don’t tell me you sit in your garage strumming :)

Thanks for that. I tried we buy any van they offered a derisory £1k ish. That is maybe why you and @Bob Geldoff1234 pushed the optimistic button I imagine. Anyway a thing is worth what you can sell it for. So maybe PX it for something more suited to the family who knows. Potential buyer didn't turn up so we shall see.

Nope I got a good deal for my 2010 Ford Connect, expected £1800. got £3000. Jobs a gooden.

The garage I bought my new car from offered me £1000 px for my old car, We Buy Any Car offered me £1700 (subject to them seeing it). I sold it privately for £3200. If you don't need it gone tomorrow, AutoTrader wins every time!

You are correct . There is a buyer for every car...
