Right of way cabling

Hi,
Can I run cabling along a right of way,from my house at the top,to a patch of land I own, 200 yards at the end of the right of way? thanks for any advise.

I was wondering about solar,it's south facing..So the legalities regarding cabling along a right of way is Ok?if

Ultimately depends on what, and who owns, it'll be fixed to. We walk past cable runs on rights of ways all the time - that shop with the cable from one side to the other on it's front, that's above the pavement, for example. The difference there being that it's out of reach and fixed entirely to the shop's own wall. If what you're contemplating involves clipping it to various fences, walls, slung in a ditch for a bit.... that's an entirely different scenario!

Hi yeah ROW is owned by all houses,who have to maintain the area adjacent to their properties..it's about a metre wide....guess it would mean digging down on the ROW to safely bury it...
