Saw him and the young ones cast at the Apollo in Coventry as, "Rik Mayall and the ******* squad" around 30 years ago. Brilliant! Seen just about everything he's done since.

RIP indeed, big shock. Major part of my teenage years watching The Young Ones, Kevin Turvy, Comic Strip etc....very sad news. Did anyone see what Ade Edmonson said? Sth along the lines of "he died this time for real, without me. Selfish b*****d!" Lol
