only thing i'd perhaps do is to put a bit of gorilla snot glue on the grommet
 
The only issue I can see with anything like this is the fact that a blind grommet is effectively a cover which can be removed without the use of a tool (except the tool who is poking his/her fingers through the grommet hole of course!).
