It's got to be union, although not getting the chance to watch as much since BT Sport got most of the premiership. But even if your not really into rugby go and watch an England or Premiership game at Twickenham, it's one of the best days out you can have watching sport.

Just had a nose around and it is basically what has been said, except the fact the ball is in play much longer in League, also one guy on the WWW posted this which is highlighted below

Union is better than League
Put all that nonsense right for you Mike.

They are both good to watch, but being raised on Union, well no contest realy

T'other way for me... having played both, union at grammar school, junior and open age league for 20 years or so..and being brought up on the game. In fact, at 16, I was playing union for school on sat morning and for a semi pro football team the same afternoon, where I didn't half get kicked about by some thugs. So, I am not anti the round ball game, either, though it is full of diving girls, IMO.

As regards the incident...an absolute disgrace which had a profound affect on the final and tarnished our game greatly.

Mike, just on one point, the size of players in different positions doesn't vary that much. Look at Jason Robinson and Jonah Lomu. As you well know, it's all about speed, agility and skill...not just size and brute force. The league you watch is probably Super League, where the players are trained, full time, to an incredible level of fitness, size and strength. At top class, Union is catching up, to a degree, learning a great deal in these spheres, from League. Coaches such as Shaun Edwards and Mike Ford, ex League halfbacks who add that touch of class and different ideas in both attack and defence.
By the way, wiganer Shaun was captain of England Schoolboys in both Union and League...no mean feat, eh? ..and he played his full career weighing in at not much more than 12 stones.

Oh, and by the way, the shoulder charge is a penalized offence in League.

Yeah I am Pete, getting excited now mate, the buzz is getting about here, I went to the stadium shop earlier to get a fleece and saw the grounds men preparing the pitch, it is a great feeling the last few hours before a big game, especially one we are underdogs in, I would love it if we won, it will be a tough game, no nancy boy footballers allowed on the Kingsholm pitch lol.

Yeah thats true, the biggest game of our season is against Bath, always is, the Bath players will ****e themselves when they come here to play us, I expect they will win but they always go away knowing they have experienced a game and an incredible crowd, we respect Bath and they respect us.
