The thin I don't understand is how will the programmer control the two underfloor heating zones if there is only one zone valve for the underfloor heating manifold? Does the electronics int the ufh box do this?

The manifold will have seperate actuators for each UFH zone, these along with the UFH pump and zone valve are controlled by the UFH control system.

So does the ufh box just need supply and everything is wired back to here...

Yes, they will also come with a volt free boiler connection too.

Ahhhh yes. That's another thing. Doesn't the boiler need a 230v switch Feed from the ufh box?

Hello again everyone

The system has now been connected and working. Used the 2 channel programmer for ch and dhw and 2 programmable thermostats for the ufh.

There's one thing I don't understand, is it ok that the hot water and ch heating pump runs when the ufh heating is on only?

The ufh has its own pump

No, you've missed out some relays, if HW and CH valves are closed and the pump is running, without a bypass valve you'll blow it.

Then you shouldn't have a problem however I stand by what I say, you have missed out a couple of relays at the boiler connection to prevent both pumps firing up at the same time. There is the potential for the manifold pump to fire up when the HW/CH pump fires up depending on what control system is in place and the manifold almost certainly won't have a bypass valve.

Thanks for that, I will have to check if the ufh pump fires up when only the dhw and ch are on
