I'm a little stuck on the different types of safe isolation procedures

the questions I've been asked are as follows

demonstration of the full, safe isolation procedure required in order to carry out electrical work/maintenance to items of electrical equipment

a) single phase circuit
b) single phase distribution board
c) three phase circuit
d) three phase isolator

any help would be much appreciated, also if anyone has any links to the HSE safe isolation information or anything like that I can't seem to find anything

Method statements for safe isolation of a three-phase circuit

Does anybody have a full method statement detailing the full safe isolation procedure for a three-phase circuit?

Ive never done a method statement but have been asked to do one for this specific task,

any help would be much appreciated

Re: Method statements for safe isolation of a three-phase circuit

First thing you need to do is a risk assessment. Then once you have this done identifying all the risks, create the methodology to reduce the risks to a safe level. Have a think about it and it should come to you.

FFS, are you AT college?

In my experience, the content is TAUGHT, then questions set to check your understanding.

If you don't understand...ask the lecturer.

That's what they're there for.

so, my Dear Watson, I conclude the OP is a 'distance learner'....or a wind up,,,,in which case - go forth and procreate.
