Hello everyone! I have a tricky question:what is the best and safest way to run cable? Is it better to drill joist in the ceiling or it is better to just clip it along the joist?

safest way to run cable is sit back, have a beer, let it run alone. that way you won't be prone to a heart attack, cramp, backache, leg ache, senile dementia and all those other problems that sparks suffer.

and preferably drill some distance away from where the wet-pants has butchered the joists without any regard as to where or how the strength has been compromised.
