Save Southern Electric museum of Electricity

I'm not usually one for starting petitions but it seemed a real shame to close this place.
Christchurch's Museum of Electricity closes its doors (From Bournemouth Echo)
It was a museum to the history of electricity, run and funded by Southern Electric from an old Edwardian power station (admission was free), featuring exhibits such as the early dc switchboard in my avatar.
Apparently the reason for it closing was it "does not fulfil its visitor needs and has restricted disabled access".

I'm a member of 28 Days Later.

Concider it done.

I visit 28dayslater urbex, UKurbex, Glasgowurbex,subterania britannica...etc.... I like the Old buildings and industrial sites...

Update:
It seems SSE flatly rejected my petition, however the mayors of Bournemouth, Poole, and Christchurch have joined together to either save the museum or relocate it to an alternative site.
With any luck these three will have a bit more influence over the situation than some local sparky.
