Scaffold alarm systems

We used to use a small alarm panel with Infrared beam detectors.

a couple of builder's buckets, filled with water/cement mix slurry , top of scaffold, tipped up by trip wires.

Sorry Pete, thought you were joking. The problem you have with scaffolding is that although it looks solid, it moves / flexes in the wind & with passing traffic.

No worries mate, there are some that you can adjust to sense footfalls etc.

can understand flexing in the wind. a good fart can move anything, but passing traffic. that would be painful.
