nah. scouseland is way ahead. all got alloy wheels now. we can sell you geordies some of our old steel jobbies to replace your wooden ones. even send some pneumatic tyres so you can dump them solid ones.

I think it's something of a blessing that scammers and bootleggers still seem to take such a slapdash attitude towards the English language.
I appreciate it might not be a spelling test, but I'm still not going to buy anything from anyone who can't even be bothered to properly spell out what they want me to buy.

When these type of emails were less common, I would go to "properties" on said email and look at the message source code. Since ACSII is used for text you can have a look at the real "payload" of the email. Anyway these scammers typically would have hacked a companies website and would be using this to store all the dodgy details. The companies website could be anywhere in the world and of course totally unrelated like a "flower distribution company" - anyway I used to email the website owner to tell them , their website was blown but I don't bother anymore as there are too many. I think I had a paypal one just the other day and the website was some hydraulic component company in Romania. Hey ho

Aye .. I know what you mean.

I look at the spelling and grammatical errors on these forums and wonder how some of these Sparks ever get their estimates / quotations accepted by customers. ;)

Hey guys , do you guys ever get the maintanance scam emails, i regularly get emails from a company offering 500 properties in my post code area to service and maintain ( im a gas engineer) and i can have these 500 properties if i pay this company £1200 for the contract , they must think im an idiot,

I had similar in my business email earlier this week.
Irregular activities it said.
Plausible but a scam.
The sad thing is that some may be taken in by it,

It will be alot of people who will get sucked in, my mam rang me about a month ago to ask me what her online banking username was (I set it up for her) when I asked why she said that her bank have emailed her saying that her payment of £1000 has been completed and if she did not make this payment click on the link below and sign into online banking to correct this mistake, sje was actually going to do it she followed the link and every thing, I told her its a scam and you should not click on links in emails unless you trust the person who is sending it, it makes me think how many people actually know there login details and did actually log in and end up getting there accounts cleaned out

They’re correct, you're a plumber.
