Scantronic Battery Fault

Hi guys,,
i have a job to find a ''battery fault'' on an old scantronic alarm system, and with no alarm knowledge what-so-ever, i could do with any information you guys have..
With it having the ''battery fault'' on the display, makes it easier - as it obviously says fit a new battery to me.., but info and any tips would be greatly appreciated..

I persume it’s as easy as just sliding it out ?

open panel. enter user code to silence alarm. remove battery ( spade terminals). fit new battery observing correct polarity, close lid. reset panel.
