Good evening forum friends. I have recently gone self employed and I am in the process of quoting various school maintenance in the local area. The only thing I have not done in the past is testing lab transformers. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP AS I CAN NOT FIND ANY INFORMATION ONLINE. I believe the units have front end 30mA RCD's which work on various voltages. If anyone knows the process of how to test these units pleeease share! Thank you massively. Jo

Thanks for the quick replies. I am NAPIT registered and I have just been accepted onto my local council approved contractors list. Does anyone actually know the testing procedure and required test instruments?

Thanks loads 54. And Tony, that isn't helpful. I haven't quoted the job yet, I am trying to decide if I should or not. I have been an electrician for 15 years but this is probably one of the only things I have never done.

And yes my insurance is a ok!
