It's not Scotland that needs independance,it's the rest of us from London.It really winds me up the way our government will do anything for london but not the rest of us,they keep expanding,greater london because they want all the clean high earning jobs,banking,finance etc but all the dirtier jobs such as factories they send elsewhere.Plus take a look at recent flooding,areas were virtually abandoned to fend for themselves yet they pulled out all the stops just in case london was threatened.Same with HS2 that's not in any way to benefit the rest of the country,it's just so the money grabbers in london can get more people spending money down there.Even major events are all staged in london,take the olympics as an example,if they'd been staged more centrally in the uk then more people could have visited.
