can't tell you how much. price varies day to day. obviously a lot more for stripped clean bright copper than unstripped.

Not as much as it is new..... if it's in decent enough lengths I'd keep it and use it for bonding. I only really weigh in t+e, anything bigger than 10 mil is worth keeping hold of, in my book.

Does anyone know if 'braiziery copper' means that tinned copper you get in old stranded t+e sometimes?

And don't burn it ....................stripping it was always an apprentice job, it teaches them how to strip cable for terminating, well that what they told me the swines.

I felt a bit like a pickey yesterday when the wife asked me to strip off all the lead off the Windows that she no longer likes. The look on peoples faces passing by. We have a problem around here with certain type of people. Weighing it in today, may get a few pints and a pizza out of it.

its amazing how little you need to make a few quid.......one of our apprentices filled a very small linbin with offcuts of stripped copper cable....once full ( we reckoned about 8 kilos ) he took it in and came back all grins and £46 better off....................pass me my knife kid!!!!!!
