Has anyone weighed in , within the last week or so ?
I know the price has taken a severe battering as of late , but was wondering what it was like around the country ?
It always surprises me how the price can differ so widely between yards !

That is around 67 pence a kg , that is hardly worth the effort !
I will phone the place I normally go in the morn to see what it is like here in Lincs , but when I last went about a month ago house hold was around 120 pence a kg .

The guy where we go even gave us a bit extra as we had quite a bit. Basically not worth the effort for that price, by the time we loaded the van up and went down, there was no way we were leaving with it all.

ÂŁ1 per kilo in southport household cable ÂŁ2.20 for copper tube (brasery copper)

97 p per Kg here in Nottingham I was quoted on Friday at one of he best paying scrap yards. Will keep hold of it a little longer i think.

I used to love the buzz of weighing in the scrap when I was cards in ( Agreed with the boss before anyone as a pop lol ) but now it is technically mine I can't be bothered messing around with it, to busy I guess typical innit.
