Roofing bolts now have 10mm serrated nuts with a PZ2 head now don’t they? Not seen old school ones for years.
 
These are the ones we often get:
They have traditional shallow slot head but the serrated flange nuts. They also offer them in hot-dipped galvanised for outdoor stuff:
(in reality the look a lot duller and rougher than the photo there)

Hex nuts are something of a luxury 😂

CEF. I know that’s a swear word on here but my branch is great.

Local branches stock only std roofing bolts from Olympic Fixings.
