Secure fixing help....

Putting up a consevatory cieling fan tomorrow.... not done one of these before!!

Found a what looks like a a nice secure point in middle of roof area where all roof supports go back to... there is a a metal (not sure what type) angle piece and I'm going to make up a bracket and somehow fix to this...

Want to know what you chaps would use to secure so this will not in anyway become loose with movement of fan..? (dont want to go away worrying about this dropping on someone head !!!)

Was thinking a selection of M6 nuts and bolts.... using nylock nut and serated washers, and also putting a gripple wire ? Will this do the job...

Any other suggestions welcome....?

Luckily went for a decent make... not some bit of B+Q cr@p.

So when switched on all balanced spot on, and no wobble.

Think next time then might go bit easy on amount of washers etc I put on....
