Yes of course you can buy this consumer unit thingy and this here wire cable stuff. But hang on.....a lb of carrots and a slab of carling, no sir not without a licence.

And you dont need to be over 18 to buy the consumer unit thingy and that fancy coloured wire stuff.

and the thing thats even dafter than that is you can buy the cu but cant buy any sharp tools to go with it. so legally you can electrocute someone but just not stab them with your screwdrivers

Not only ripping off the public but us as well,I can buy MK face plates cheaper at B+Q than I can at my local Neweys.Same product.......

newey and aire are as over priced as B and Q and it depends who serves you as to what price you get, they are good at getting obscure items quickly but thats where the positive ends, they get the hump when they find out youve shopped elsewhere the newlec range is a pile of crap with loads of defective stuff, ( the newlec boards you have about 10mm gap at top of RCBOs to top of board so no room to make cable off neatly.

consumables are the most expensive in town, they have the massive council contract supplying the whole of chester district housing trusts sparks with materials and they think they rule the earth

Just as an update, after all this debacle I went through my old wallets looking for my old Makro card from when I had the wine shops - got in touch with Makro and they have reactivated it, so I'll take my business there. UP YOU, BLAKEMORE CASH AND CARRY, NEWPORT!

Thats pretty much all I use neweys for ,obscure bits and bobs.Lost all confidence in them two years ago after they closed my account twice due to their miss management.They sent me a couple of letters to try and tempt me back,but rarely use them now.Chatted to a few other sparks over here and I wasnt the only one.
