Selling second hand electricals

Hi all I am hinking of doing a car boot, does anyone know of any restrictions on the selling of used electricals, ie lamps, players etc?

I think they need to be pat tested, if not some sellers cut the plugs off.

if you are doing a car boot sale you personally can sell any electrical items,if you do bootsales on a regular basis more than 5 bootsales a year,then you become a trader, and need to pat test electrical items before selling.hope this helps,
people are employed to walk around bootsales taking note of vehicle reg to see how often you are selling .
