Please help out this poor uneducated American Electrician, in the states we can run whats called a multi-wire branch circuit, where we can run two or three lives and share one neutral. Im told in the UK its not done, I've looked in 7671 for this regulation but cannot seem to find it.

Run a three core,directly off up/down cct and run all lights on that cct through same N/L/S-Line...ever any fault finding later...or additions,so much easier!!!!
 
i posted about this problem last week. i replaced a mini board on 3rd floor in a house to find rcd tripping on stair lights. it trips as soon as i flik the light switch.iv still to finish the job. the stairway lights on all 3 floors effected. wat should i do. hellllllpp
