Discuss Shed power in the Electrical Wiring, Theories and Regulations area at ElectriciansForums.net

about 30 metres in all think they were going to connect into outside socket that is were i found the end of cable under the patio next to the outside socket

Even though the swa has 3 cores make sure that you earth the armouring at the house CU, doesn't have to connected at shed end .
Is the shed completely wood or is there metalwork involved, is there a water or gas supply to it?

Is it ok to export the earth 30 metres or should the shed have an Earth rod?
