Hi there
has anyone got any info on the Shillitoe parish community centre project for the 2391-20 or the old 2400 got some figures down and some ideas on paper but would like to know what others have put down so that i can confirm my findings.
    • i have put two extra boards on the ground floor one in the staff room and one in the store opposite to the toilets
    • i've used dado skirting as my wiring system for the supplies to the s/o as in the spec it states that the floor coverings are already down
    • i got a figure after applying diversity( + 10% (for future additions) of 659A, across each phase 220A for the maximum demand
    • havent done anything on the pv supplies apart from what the question asks ie. suitable systems and manufacturers data
any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks.

I have done this project got it marked a few months ago as far as i can remember i had near on 250A per phase after diversity

i done all the wiring in the suspended ceiling with galv trunking except in the cafeteria which I used galv conduit under screed

i only used 1 extra distribution board for the kitchen circuits due to the loading

Thanks kablue.

I've got the info on pv already but good to hear that my 220a is close to your 250a per phase
much appreciated.

ps

do you have any of your coursework you could email me to have a look at?

Thats correct, no two are going to be the same, it's down to the individual on cable runs etc. but when it comes to things like suitable wiring systems, suitable consumers control equipment and Zs for lighting circuits in function room 1. there really isn't going to be a great deal of difference between tom's dick's or harry's providing that they all have a little bit of sense.

what objectives have you left to do?

Good luck,

pretty much wrapped up here, i would have just liked to have had a look at what someone else had done, ie content, presentation choice of manufacturer and stuff like that. i suppose i'm just being nosey really.

but once again thanks for your replies.

cheers

six banks of four flourescents in the function rooms for me this gave a good result when balancing the phases and enabled the use of a 6A bsen60898.

tell me your thoughts

By using contactors for the lights , would the switch feed conductor to and from the contactor be independent of the lighting circuits when working out the value for R1?
