Whenever the actual rate of pay is not mentioned, it's normally not very good
Depends on qualifications and experience the last mate that started 6 months ago with no experience is on £14 now started on 12.50 a spark is on £17 u can get better rate but it's a steady permanent ongoing job with over a grand a week take home every week not just here and there paid weekly into your bank no hassle I've never had a better job in 28 years as a spark

Not saying its still like this now but when I was in shop fitting 20 odd years ago I'd have to say it was a great crack, worked very hard and played the same. Travelled the length of the country (Bristol included lol)
We'd generally have 2 weeks to strip out and fit, you'd smash it for the first week or so (14-16hr days) then once on top down to 12hrs. Money was good but you earnt it, and as I was single at the time the play time was a laugh also. Its a good job for a single person looking to earn some money, its an experience never the less. Good luck :)
