Right chaps,

Due to a few unavoidable issues, we have lost the original thread and pics etc.

Sorry about that!!!

So, if you want to re-upload your pics then great, if not, give us something new!

Cheers!!

Yes I totally agree but I also like the door interlocking and for this one it was going inbetween two other items. I'm looking for another isolator make at the moment. ABB are quite good.

whats the deal with the RCBO earth connections in the DB? never seen that before, but don't work on domestic.. i was always told that RCBO earths have to go into the same connection as the CPC for identification, surely the RCBO earths need to be numbered?

Correct, RCBO functional earth leads should be connected in the same earth terminal as the circuits CPC. That is the case whether it be domestic, commercial, or industrial.

Recently changed a board, I think that the tails outer sheathing should go right up to the main breaker but the 25mm tails were being pigs to bend. I'm open for constructive criticism to improve in future, also the spare ways may be used shortly - the client is having work done so spares have been left in accordance with prospective additons

Before and after, may of got it a bit neater if I had more room and wasn't standing so high up a ladder

Still at least it's labelled (the marks on the fuse boxes were mine working out what was doing what) and has all the cpcs connected, quality way to cure your rcd problems by removing them

Hi

How is it fixed back to wall just look like its not really supported on top left hand side.

There is wooden batten behind it, I was intending to put that board in a different place but they had the gas redone before I could install it, which somewhat limited the options, messsy compared to the majority of these other examples but hey...

Bgb 416.2.2 !
May I suggest some 50mm x 50mm PVC trunking, I'm also not a big fan of zipping all t+e together as they can get a bit warm as it were.
Just my observations ;)

@ ses, is that cable tray in a loft! Love it lol
