Went to look at a job yesterday and seen someone had decided to put a isolator on the shower as one wasn't fitted. Talk about making something alot more dangerous than it was, it was even wired in harmonised colours. Further investigation showed there was a isolator fitted but was in the kitchen down stairs. Was only protected by a BS3036 fuse no RCD fitted

All been ripped out now as a gravity fed shower is being fitted.

The isolator in the bathroom was connected first so if you need to replace it you would have had to unclip the cables as they clipped the cable after it had been terminated so no slack in the patress.
