dont you have to fit these as per manufacturers instructions and they say it must be rcd protected. Reg 134.1.1

Ah yeah, I know of the regulations.

But if you were to change a socket like for like in a domestic would you tell your client that you couldn't change it unless it was for a socket with integrated RCD, or would you just change it like for like cos otherwise it wouldn't be complying to the regulations to exactly the same extent as 134.1.1. No? :)
