Does a new circuit feeding heaters in a changing room of a sports pavillion require rcd protection? as the shower room for it has no door and the fixed water outlet is 1.4M away from the nearest heater. so is the changing room part of the location containing a shower? Thanks for any thoughts on the subject.

I wouldn't look for reasons not to RCD protect what you've described!

Look at page 201 drawing e of the BGB, thats your answer. However regardless of the BGB my reply would be the same as Kingeri end of, JMO

ip rated heaters but has just been installed with no rcd protection to the new circuits and non on any of the existing

it's a sports pavillion, not a fairy ballet school. throw the heaters out.

This is one of those situations where regs doesnt really matter. RCD all the way!!
