Hi,
Been and done a cu change, the shower is on 6mm about 7 meters long but the shower is 9.8kw this was working fine on a old rewireable fuse customer does not want 10mm cable putting in. Question is it best to put it on a 40 amp Mcb or 32 Mcb.

9.8KW is 42A so I would have said 45A breaker for the shower but if its only 6mm cable then 40A would be too high so would have to be the 32.
