Hi all, I'm fitting one of these for a customer. The power to the control unit is via a 12v adapter (RJ11 plug at one end that plugs into the control unit and a 2 pin plug at the other end for the mains). They want it hardwired though if possible, but I cant work out how the wiring would be configured. Any ideas?

Cheers Telectrix. The trouble is the adapter I've got looks like this sort of thing (I hope you can see the picture I've tried to attach). So I think the customer is hoping I can do away with the whole adapter and rig something else up, ie RJ11 plug to a lead then to a 12v transformer then as you say L and N to a FCU. I'm tempted to say I cant do it!

cheers Richard, the customer has now said he would be happy to just plug the adapter into a 2 pin socket, so that should make it a bit easier. I'll keep your idea in mind though for future reference!
