Signal interference for AICO detectors?

Hi all
Installed AICO Ei2110e modules some 6 years ago and used their RadioLINK bases to link one set to others in the extension. No issues until recently when a myenergi eddi was installed nearby for the water heating. Since then, alarms sound at infrequent times, but often enough to be really annoying for the customer.
Is this a coincidence, or has anyone else had issues like this or could offer an informed opinion as to likelihood of this occurring?

It is a possibility that both systems use the same frequency, but only the manufacturers themselves would know.
Although the information should be on their published data sheets.

If the Eddi is turned off, do the alarms still go off?
Or is it too infrequent to tell?

Unfortunately, too random/infrequent to check
I'll get the data sheets for both and see if they are close.

Myenergi devices use radio frequency (RF) to communicate and pair with one another. Different regions require different RF protocols, meaning devices can operate on either 868MHz or 915MHz.
The guide explains how to change the radio frequency on myenergi devices when required.

The Aico Ei2110e radio frequency is 868.499MHz.
The alarm signal would be coded, but you may find that if the alarm does a self check every X amount of time, and it gets no response because of the interference, it may very well go off.

Just a guess, but its possible.

Blow the dust out of the Aico before you get involved with things more technical.

House code all the alarms first,we had a situation of a whole street going off at 8 am many days, this was due to no house coding being done and 1 place over cooking there toast

Have you contacted Aico tech support about this it may be an issue that is known to them and they can advise the best way forward

My old boss put wireless aico alarms in a care home.he got to the 4th room and realised they were all going off together because he hadn't coded them properly. 2 of the tenants had went out shopping by that time .
