has anyone come across daft names for equipment etc thats made you laugh

The power station im working at has the twinspot em lights written down as 'frog eyes'. never heard that before!

The rhyming slang thing completely flummoxes her.
I had stepped out of my office and was walking towards Mrs B's desk.
My phone started to ring.
Project engineer stuck his head over barrier....
"Yer dogs barking."
The missus gave him a look that was probably best descried a cross between utter disdain and total confusion.

"He means my phone is ringing."
"Oh."

I was once told to go to a swing bridge to repair the wig wags. It turned out they were the alternating lights that stopped the traffic like you get at a level crossing. They had a damaged SWA that had resulted having a wig but no wag.
