I don't know if any of you have ordered off simple lighting in the past or are about to my advice is don't! I've had a few bits off them over the last year and now i've got a problem with a gu10 led and they're making it so difficult to get a replacement its unreal, i thought i could call them up and they would send a replacement out straight away but no! They want the bulb in question back first so it can be tested and reported and then if they're happy it failed due to manufacturing error they will send a replacement, I don't know if its just me but i think its a bit off just for one bulb, its almost not worth the effort of packaging it up and sending it back!

Send it back with a letter that's polite but gets your point across. It's worth it out of principle in my eyes. You never know you might get a freebie :)

Oh i'll be sending it back alright , i've replaced the bulb for my customer anyway but they've just made it so difficult, i've switched to led hut now who are a lot cheaper and give good trade discount and seem to have a better policy for faulty goods upon speaking to one of the guys there, time will tell

How some of these companies stay in business I don't know, but it can be rewarding to stick the middle finger up at wholesaler and say I'm taking my money else where haha.

Our local CEF are in that class, Rarely have even the most common items in stock, the staff are useless, to the extent one of my colleagues had to go round 'the back' and show the lad what a 20mm plastic adaptor is. If it wasn't just down the road from were we work we'd never use them.

Don't talk to me about CEF I had a stand up argument with the lad behind the counter who told me I didn't know what I was on about when he was trying to give me a flex outlet plate telling me it was cooker outlet. Ended up getting some 10mm out the van and telling him if he can get it in the flex outlet I'll buy his entire stock of them. Needless to say I don't have any flex outlets on the van.

Simple lighting are not a bad company, but new to the market, one thing a can tell you any problem will be no effort for them to sort out, they will honour anything they sell.

Not in my book! It was a lot of effort just to get one replacement gu10 and for all i know they'll come back and say that it wasn't a manufacturing fault and won't exchange it anyway! They're useless completely useless!!!
