I'm looking for a single enclosure that will hold an RCBO. Every one that my local supplier have are only big enough for an MCB! Anybody suggest a make or site where would be best to get this?

Out of interest what is the purpose of the white wire on the RCBO?
I know it connects to earth, but what I dont get is why?

With a RCD there is no earth connection - Im prob missing something very obvious so please dont shout!

Why don't the Memshield 3 RCBO's have the usual white "earth reference lead" as we are familiar with from Memshield 2 RCBO's?
Answer: The functional earth lead is only required in the very unlikely event of loss of a Neutral supply at the same time as an earth fault occurs (double fault condition).
In the event of an earth fault combined with loss of the Neutral supply, the likelihood is that the voltage (line to earth) will be suppressed by the fault and may well in effect be reduced below the lowest working voltage of the electronics (typically a minimum voltage of around 50V needed to power the internal circuits).

You could use one of the new RCBO's from GE which are the same size as an MCB. There was a post about these at the end of March, search for "new style RCBO"

Sounds good, I'll check it out!

or fit a 3 way box ( garage board type thingy ) and stick an RCD and a MCB in it.

This is last resort!

Screwfix / Electrifix have a wylex enclosure with din rain that will do it.

I'll check this out!

I can't seem to see the GE RCBO thread! Anybody help? Cheers.

EDIT: Found them. Look perfect. Thanks for everyones help.
