we ordered real ale from the berkshire brewery or somewhere like that for over christmas, was lovely - but im afraid i am a lager lout at times, don't mind a cold pint of carlsberg

No I don't .... and I've not touched it since they stopped brewing it in Newcastle & pulled the brewery down.

After that happened, it was moved to the Federation Brewery in Dunston - which is on the "wrong" side of the Tyne. Then the Fed closed & it's now brewed in Yorkshire.

Well I have to admit I do enjoy a cold pint of Kingfisher or Cobra with my Indian meal.
