Cant remember what 704 is for? But surely other bits of BS7671 would apply.

Why, generally interested.
Mainly because of the problems of Sizing protective bonding conductors, relating to the Tncs earthing system.Cant remember what 704 is for? But surely other bits of BS7671 would apply.

So this isn't a construction site. Can you explain why the supply to the cabin will come under 704 when it is not on a construction or demolition site?

What dave said best describes the set up.So this isn't a construction site.

Not necessarily the case. I worked on four sites back in the summer testing the cabin supplies, two of them had TN-C-S supplies which were sealed and being used. The supply is likely to be common to both the construction site and the cabin, and so the DNO will not provide an earth and the supply will fall under construction site regulations.

That’s ok as long as main protective bonding conductors are sized correctly,to that network.Site cabins for us will always come of our own distribution network. I can't remember any of them being TT.
Agree, it’s the safest way to comply.I always tt cabins now and I've noticed the last few compounds the electricity board haven't given us the option of tncs as in they've not given us an earth terminal so they've made it pretty clear they want us to tt.
