Is anyone using Sky Mobile ? I'm currently with Tesco but their prices seem a lot higher than Sky. Both use the O2 network so no difference there. My contract is up so thinking of swapping over. Anyone have any 'don't do it' or general bad service comments? The carrying data over bit seems useful and I can get 25Gb with Sky for around the same as 5Gb with Tesco.
I'm with sky just upgraded it to 1000mb optic fibre and cancelled my virgin 100mb optic fibre.
It does reduce when busy to around 450mb and less than 600mb in any month means money off your bill but I assume you have to ring them every month for that. And who has the tiiiiiime?

I'm with Sky for my Internet. It's Sky fibre but not the speed you have. As far as I know it's not around me yet. Had major problems with them last year with a fault that they wouldn't accept existed but since then it's been fine.
The sky bloke said to me all lines can now be this quick. He ran a new optic from my house (the white box inside the house which is then ethernet to router) to the telegraph pole!
He said when people renew sky even on the old they will come out and replace it now. They don't want people on the old.
So yours may need the copper half mile to exchange doing and it should be being done right now. Or it has been done during your contract and this next renewal they will put the optic from pole to property and you're done.
He showed me 'tuning' the optic in (don't think he used that word lol) and said he studied it at uni and still doesn't understand how it transfers so much data through it. Said it wasn't discussed at 1000mb even in uni a few years ago.
It's finally caught up with France as I use servers there instead of London as their exchanges are all many gb and can outpace ddos attacks easy.
This thing on the right of my pole he said was installed just 2 months ago and the loops are the optics as they can't be bent etc.
So do poles round your way have this weird box with loads of loops coming out of it?
You can see there are dozens and don't know what impact 3 dozen has over 1 dozen maybe it'll drop back more mb next year.

BT for home broadband. Sky for TV and Voxi (vodaphone) for mobiles.
Now BT are advertising “wifi7” …. What the heck’s that?
