in essnse it's a free phone network from your pc. videocam is optional. yes, it's probably used by pervs, but so are buses.

Skype is different, it is now available on the 3G network as well as PC, if your looking for pervs...well they are everywhere, I talk to relatives over VOIP, that's Voice over internet protocol for those that are not initiated, I just thought I might quite like to eye ball some members on here, I like to see white of the eyes

For us lonely old men out in the desert skype is fantastic for keeping in touch with the family back home. With broadband speeds so quick nowadays and with a decent cam and audio it is really good quality.

It's free to call other skype users, and for a couple of quid a month I can call any phone in the world for pennies and conference call upto 6 people
