SMA 400TL not starting up

Hi,

I have a 4kw system (sanyo panels), The dc voltage is 550v, the polarity is correct, the screen lights up but doesnt go through the normal starting up procedure, all the readings stay on zero.

Has anyone experienced this? Any ideas?

Have you wired the system on two strings or just the one?

The Maximum input voltage on the SMA 4000TL is 550V- you need to split the system over 2 strings.
