Has anyone experience prooblems with sma webboxs suddenly stopping uploading data to the sunny portal?
I finally managed to get through to a communications expert on the German service line (actually he phoned me back as they do but it had to be during the school run, didnt it?)and i guess he was saying (from accent) that the sunnyportal can inadvertently change the dns addres of the webbox. He advised me to change it to 8.8.8.8
I havent done this yet as it was only today i spoke to him but has anyone else come across a problem like this and resolved it in the same way? I am not computer Network literate and i am unsure why it has to be set to 8.8.8.8 and my wife was glaring at me when i took the call around all the mums!
