Smallest co alarm for period house

Hello. Looking for recommendations on a co alarm. Usually use aico but client is not happy with the look of them. Old victorian house probably need 8 of them.
A few dead bodies would be preferable to an aico ei208 on the ceiling

Have you considered wall mounting instead? May/not be a preference to the client, but is an option.

I still dont know why they cannot be "painted " to blend them in a bit more ? Years ago I painted many a Sat /dish to blend them in etc

They don't all need to be "mounted". Some are designed as stand-alone, on a shelf etc. More prone to being removed, damaged, so depends on the environment.

The paint can affect the plastic.

Ever seen how brittle minitrunking can get after being painted.

I know different plastics have different properties, but better not take the risk.

True... But I hate seen really stunning interiors having to have such ugly things stuck on ceiling !

Because any paint getting in to the sensor could stop it from working. Or else the paint could just restrict the airflow through the unit.

Given the nature of detectors, I'd be inclined to avoid painting them even if sensor was masked off and airflow not restricted. Who knows what effect solvents could have on them over time.

Exactly, of all the things I will mess around with and modify I wouldn't touch a safety critical system.
