^^^^unfortunately for other manufacturers, AICO have it nailed big time, they produce some quality stuff.

Most stockists hold them.

They are NOT the cheapest but they are the best and easiest to install, and once you've used them once you will always use them!

Plus their techies are excellent.

Aico are the easiest and foolproof for wireless bases. They are a tad pricey but worth every penny if you don't want to do too much cosmetic damage.

have a look on the website. They have an online brochure with all the tech specs and information for each model and types of design in properties.

Aico are the "trusted" brand. Would choose them a million miles over kiddie etc. Assuming you mean domestic smoke detectors,of course?
