You and try to say to the customers regarding the consumer units, two jobs last week no protection, RCD, just main switches and isolation switch only.
Yeh I had to go to an emergency job on Friday where the plaster had cut through what he was told was a dead down flow point .bang.cut through it with his tin snips without even checking with a volt stick.they had 4 different fuse boards no rcd protection etc .made no comment other than your shower and bathroom circuits would really benefit from rcd protection .wasn't there to scare them into extra works .
