[ElectriciansForums.net] So Own up who doesn't do this?!!!

Though believe me, it's not just Men that do this, I apparently wind my husband up with - worked/designed/updated/analysed that line, that power station, that site, that hotel....

My daughter has an excellent memory for detail, and she'll head me off at the pass when driving around....
If I mention one job, she'll take over the commentary for me!
I know Dad, that's the house that had no earth. That's the one where you hit a water pipe.
That's the one with the old deaf lady whose cat you accidentally buried under the floorboard and had to go back to find it.

I’ve got one of those, too!!

Nothing worse than saying what you did somewhere, then finding out it's been closed for years!

I did the electrical design and controls for the major update at the BICC Helsby site (loads of large inverters for pump control on the process cooling systems - took ages to design due to difficulties ensuring it wouldn't interfere with the electron beaming system). Happily boring my husband with all the details as we passed on the M56, indicating we could see the factory over the railway from the motorway....

Completely gone!!

It had closed down in the early 2000's just Tesco there in its place!!

Burnt down?

It’s a bit different for me because whilst yes I can point to houses and estates that I built years ago or the odd place here and there that I’ve done a call out to, the vast majority of my work basically ends up on social media as posts of shows and events, here today and gone tomorrow!

This was me at work last night…
