Am I right in thinking a garage conversion attached to the house DOESN'T come under the 450 -1200mm height rule

that's why sockets have switches in them. so you can leave the plug in.

I only know of one person who actually switches off sockets.

we switch all ours off if the pup is in. she has a taste for flexes. fried dog is not on the menu.

i know. ayjay in korea would know more. anyone tried anything with my 2lb wonder dog, they'd better have arranged their funeral beforehand.

My dogs have successfully chewed through a number of cables including 240V ones without any ill effects. Don't ask me how they did it without even tripping the RCD. Fortunately they have now grown out of it as it has cost me a fortune.
