Hi all

Is it acceptable to have 6mm Cable from CU to a 13a socket outlet and on to an isolator for a hob?

Obviously it's not the best method and would be better to use a cooker switch with a socket outlet but If the sockets required in a different room?

I'm guessing 6mm would be difficult to terminate in a socket too.

Thanks

Why would you want to route a hob's 6mm cable to supply a socket in a different room?? Sounds nothing less than a DIY bodge-up to me. Oh and i wanna watch with Murdock, but i'll be just as happy with a video recording!!
