hi.
currently working on a extension, which has a bedroom and a adjecent wet room. my problem is that the the shower head and wet floor area is on your left as soon as you enter the room, and the customer wanted a switch outside the wet room to work 2 way with the bedroom lights. which means that it could be possible to be in the wet room having a shower and being able to operate the switch, if the door was open that is (not that the door would be open in most cases but it is possible) so i have persuaded the customer to have a pull switch as its in my oppinion the safer option. as regards to sockets, where do i stand?as far as im concerned its in a different room with a door seperating them, but there would be sockets within 3 metres of zone 1 of the wet room,if the door was open.maybe im being a bit picky but i pickled the boss's brain with it,and hes pretty clued up with the 17th regs and told me he'd get back to me with a solution by the morning!any other opinions?
